Blahhhhh....

So I have a confession to make...I SUFFER FROM SEASONAL DEPRESSION!!!  :)  Really, I do!  I don't get too sad, or angry (my kids would probably say otherwise!) but I do loose all and any motivation- hence the lack of blogging, or crafting, or doing anything for that matter! :)  So my apologies to my readers, especially my new ones who are probably thinking, "why the heck did I click follow on this lame blog?"  But SPRING is in the air, and already this week I am feeling an urge to do some spring cleaning, until I get up and all the urge is gone.  I need to live in St George!!! :)
Anyways!  Time to spruce things up a bit!  I promise to do something creative soon- but in the meantime, I need some help-
May is my 1 year anniversary of this blog, and I want to celebrate with a bang!!!  I want to do a week of giveaways, so I am looking for anyone who might be interested or who might know someone who would be?  I have a few already, but need some more.  If you are interested, please email me @
youcraftmeup@yahoo.com

No I am not really crying inside, I just thought these were funny :)

Thanks for your help- and I promise to post soon! :)

  1. Oh my gosh! I suffer from SAD, too! Mine is the worst when it starts getting dark at 4:00...I literally have panic attacks. And I eat EVERYTHING in sight....and cry a lot. So I totally hear you. ((HUGS)) And I am SO happy you're back! Isn't it amazing what a difference it makes when you know winter is over? Those comics are hilarious, too! Thanks for the good laugh! Ooh! And I love giveaways, bring 'em on! :)

  2. Hi Maria! I live in AZ so I'm safe from SAD although sometimes I get very infected with MAD depending on how dumb my kids are behaving...

    BUT...

Have you tried taking extra liquid vitamin D? Sometimes that can help!

Hope the sunshine finds you soon!

  3. I have a hard time in winter too - usually hits hard at the end of January and in February. I was so excited to spring my clocks forward for daylight savings! But on the flip side, I LOVE all the sunshine you get when you live up north. The sun doesn't set until 10 pm. I guess I need to live in Idaho in the summer for those long sunny days and then in Australia in the winter so I can get their long sunny days.

  5. Wow, are you reading my mind??!! You put into words exactly how I have been feeling lately! My mind is overwhelmed with ideas and an eagerness to do them all! My body on the other hand has gone on strike and refuses to cooperate with the mind! So I take that as a sign I need a break....but today I am going out back to my shop and I am going to do SOMETHING....
maybe tidy up and prepare...maybe finish a project...but know I am right there with ya girl and the "gumption" will return! Have a blessed day!

A new fan and til next time....Mag
